No, it's your own fault you look at the movie as part of the franchise.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I just wonder if they're going to completely balls up the remake like they did the game.

Fun game and everything.
Ruined the whole point of the movie "crime doesn't pay"

100 POINTS FOR SHOOTING THE LEFT TESTICLE, BECOME SUPREME GANGSTER.

Can totally see them trying to make it some hip action flick that doesn't have any meaning to it. Like Expendables with less old action stars.

Who could they possibly get to throw the kind of weight around that Pacino did also?

I can't think of any modern actor that could be so convincingly dark and angry.

WHAT THE f***? No! You can't touch classics like scarface. I can't even think of a guy who can play the role even close to how well al pacino played

Soundtrack too.

If there's dubstep in this movie I will burn down Hollywood.

How are they going to pull of scenes like:

Without a good soundtrack and actor.

This is just such a pointless movie to remake.

Thank you.

We know nothing of the project yet, so we should wait and see what information they have for us in the future.

Keep in mind that Scarface itself is a remake of a 1932 movie.

There's just no way with movie techniques of today that it will ever be as good though and what is it even going to be based around?

The original was based around Al Capone and the remake had heavily influence from all the Cuban refugees etc etc.

What's this movie's backbone going to be? "The 80's version was a good movie" won't cut it.

I swear to God if it's a PG13 though..., just wow can you even imagine how terrible that would be

Hollywood is f***ed right now.. Too many remarks or super hero movies, not enough classic original masterpieces.

I'm sure everybody knows that there is a remark of Fanastic Four.

Al Pacino's Scarface is ironically a remake itself. Proving that yes sometimes remakes can be better.

But I doubt it.

Like I said though are there any remakes of movies from the 70's-80's though? I can't think of any good ones.

Besides Lord of the Rings but obviously that's a bit different since they adapted the book not the original movie.

The Karate Kid wasn't bad.

I personally didn't think Clash of the Titans was bad either.

But I doubt it.
But Paul Muni's Scarface was released in 1932, Al Pacino's Scarface was in 1983. 50 years gap, and, Al Pacino and Brian De Palma made that movie into a classic which helps exclude them from the conversation.

A lot of the remakes now have a very short gap between the remake and original.

And a lot of them don't do them justice.
